Pete`s Place in Brownstown Township

The food was nice and warm. The service was quick and the staff was kind and friendly. For some reason the temperature inside the restaurant was unstable. At times it would feel hot, then sometimes I needed to put my coat on. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food was good. I recommend it for couples and families.

Love Pete's Place. Both of them. Brownstown & Taylor. Lots of different things to choose from on their menu. Friendly waitstaff. Food arrives in a reasonable amount of time. BEST French Fries! Biggest chef's salad I've ever seen. Great value for your money. Been going to Pete's for over 11 years! And will continue to visit.

Ordered chicken and waffles, and a 6oz sirloin. Steak was WAY overcooked and tough, and the waffle was inedibly soggy. Very disappointed.

The portions are huge, delicious, & homemade like mom's. The service is the best I have had, esp compared to ALL the other restaurants I have been to in the Downriver area.

Amazing Bacon Macaroni and Cheese with good customer service.

Small, very nice, very fast service, great prices. Serving sizes are for the price. Better go during the week. Very very busy, both locations. So for a great local place service with a smile then head on in.

The food was great, but what made my visit splendid was the wonderful service I received by Payton! She was very cheerful and upbeat! She made my friends and I feel very welcome and at home! I will be returning!

Great coffee great food great service. I have had breakfast a few times and had there Ruben the bread bowls are also good.

I love Pete's food. It's one of my favorite places to go.. However the wait staff isnt what it use to be. Last few years things have changed.

Family loves it. Their favorites are broasted chicken and chicken soup. Never really found anything that did it for me until I ordered the mac and cheese.

The rolls are so good. Had a steak sub it was fabulous

I have been here several times and each time the food was good and the service good as well. This time the food was good too, but the service was lacking. I saw our waitress only a few times and had to request a refill for our drinks. The quality of food and service are the things that help you choose your dining option. They both need to be good if you want repeat business. I will be back and see if this is a fluke or a trend.

Every time I come to Pete's Place in Brownstown I have a great experience! Christina has always provided my favorite service, but I have no complaints about other servers. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable, too. It's a smaller restaurant, but it doesn't feel like a coney island. Two thumbs up!

Great beef stroganolf. Place was quiet for a Saturday and we had great dinner service.

Much quieter than the Taylor location. Food was great.

Great food, great service. This place is slowly becoming my new breakfast spot. Tried the chicken and waffles last time and, it was awesome! Honestly everything I have had from here as been great. I would recommend everyone to try here,if you aren't sure about dinner, go for breakfast. You won't be upset, their coffee and tea is awesome also. Kudos to the chef!

We've been here twice and each time we were pleased. Big proportion sizes on everything. The chicken Cobb salad was so big, I was full after about 10 bites. I would have taken it home but we were on sport bikes. The salad had more toppings than it did lettuce but who can complain about that? Service was fantastic both times we went. We'll definitely be back for a 3rd time .

A place that has good food at reasonable prices. Always does a good business. You can lead off with one of their delicious soups and tack on what you want from there. Portions are pretty sizeable, so you won't be walking away hungry. Great place to eat for the whole family. 😊

We came in for lunch and had a great time! The food was delicious and our server Payton was helpful, attentive, and super friendly. Will definitely be coming back (and hope to have her as our server again)!

My new favorite restaurant! Everything is delicious here....and fresh ! Soups, salads, burgers, comfort food plus coffee and dessert. Wings, pierogies, grinders, crab cakes, Reuben, nachos, pretzel bites, ravioli, mac n cheese...What more could you ask for?

Great small town feel compared to their sister restaurant in Taylor and the food porportions are more then enough. Attentive wait staff.

Never had a bad meal, or bad service for that matter, at Pete's Place. Both Brownstown and Taylor. I love the decor at both locations too.

Stopped in for breakfast today and was blown away! The country skillet was more than I expected. FRESH cut home fries, layered with all the fixings, bacon, sausage, Dearborn brand ham sliced an diced with veggies, carefully smothered with cheddar and topped with 2 eggs. I couldn't pass on their homemade gravy to top it all! My friend, luckily ordered their Eggs Benedict, which is only served on weekends, but with that flavor, you know, was made with love and careful discretion. The service was friendly and welcoming; made us feel like we were more than just guests. Hands down our new go to for our morning fuel! I have previously been a lunch/dinner patron. Most sandwiches served with homemade chips, ACTUAL homemade chips and they are enough to warrant a visit alone. Take a dip of theirs in the house made Ranch dressing...no words. I personally pair my sandwich with a cup of the loaded baked potato soup(cheddar, sour cream and chives) oh my!!! You WILL not be disappointed.

Lasagna was awesome. Portion was large, took half home.

Great cooking at this little place most everything is made when you order and these cooks know their stuff. Nice efficient waitstaff make the whole meal work out well...clean place even in all the corners and the bathrooms too

I was recently in Brownstown & visited Pete's Place for breakfast with my family. Our waitress, Chrissy, was on top of her game! We were never out of coffee, the breakfast for all of us was served quickly & everything was delicious! That combination of stellar service and good food at a fair price is what will bring us back for sure!

I am a regular in Pete's Place in Brownstown. I love how fast the service is and how great the food is. The staff are also very nice.

Very short staffed. Food was ok. Had breakfast and eggs were warm not hot. Bread was good.

The food and the waitresses are amazing. Great coffee aswell
